Gender Reveal Party Set-up (PICS)

Here are some pictures I took while getting set-up for the party. I wanted the decorations to be minimal while still expressing the theme of the event.

Everyone filled these out for the baby. Some were hilarious and some were very sweet!

Name suggestion board

Once we knew the gender we released the proper color (PINK) up to my mom.

"BABY HILL GENDER REVEAL! GUESS PINK OR BLUE, IT'S UP TO YOU"!!

Once we found out it was a GIRL, we gave all the baby boy stuff to my brother! Which was really funny because he wanted my newest nephew Khyree to be a girl badly so he was a little jealous. Giving him all the boy items was kind of a little dig! lol

Daddy-to-be finally felt his daughter's kick!

This little girl must really like to interrupt our TV time! lol The first time I felt her move was while I was on my sofa watching the telly.

Now it was daddy's turn!! So Tommy and I were on the sofa last night watching "Ink Masters" and our daughter was just kicking away. Now I've tried several times to get Tommy to feel her kicks but he hadn't been able to.  I was lieing on the sofa resting my head on his lap and he was sitting up. I could feel her so good so I figured I'll give it a shot. I said "babe put your hand on the bottom of my stomach because she's river-dancing"! He obliged and as soon as he place his hand down firmly, she kicked him. Oh my God his face just lit up!!! Then she kicked him again, and again, and again. All hard kicks too and he was just amazed! He started talking to her saying "hey sweetie, it's daddy".  It was such a super sweet moment and I'll never forget it and neither will he!

November Appointments

I had my last appointment with the perinatologist yesterday which meant we were able to see our baby girl again. First thing we did was verify the baby was still a girl and she was! lol He checked all the lungs, heart, spine, brain, arms, legs, bones, etc.  Everything looked awesome! She measured about 11 inches from head to toe and weighed about 1 1/4 pound.  She was eating on the sonogram so we saw her opening her mouth and like chewing. It was super cute. Since everything was on point for this appointment as well there is no reason for me to continue going back to the perinatologist.

Today I went to my regular OB just for a prenatal check-up (no sono). They checked my urine to make sure there was no protein in it (there wasn't), measured my stomach, listened to the baby's heartbeat, took my blood pressure, etc.  She also called labor and delivery and set my c-section date for March 1st at 9am!!! I also received my glucose drink to take 30 minutes before my next appointment on December 6th. I have my instructions for my pre-registration. Basically everything is moving right along and our baby girl is doing awesome! Can't wait to see her again next month via sono.

I'll be exclusively seeing my OB from now on for the growth tracking and sonos since I received an all clear from the perinatologist.

SN: Now that I can feel her daily I must say it is the most amazing feeling! It gives me comfort between appointments since I can not see her. She wakes me up in the morning and she moves around all during the day! It is truly a beautiful thing!

My own clothes: pre-maternity shirt , pre-maternity sweater and maternity jeans. That shirt was barely making it! That'll definitely be the last time I wear it while pregnant! lol

OMG It's A .........

We had our gender reveal party Saturday with an amazing turn-out of family and friends! Everything went beautifully! We are having a GIRL!!!!!! We are so excited and over-joyed! We would have been either way but finally knowing what we are expecting is just so lovely! I can start planning my nursery and buying little things here and there!! Pictures coming soon :)
